PCA Building Excellence- New Building Renderings

BUILDING EXCELLENCE- Putting Our Faith into Action

Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

It is with great excitement that we share renderings for the new building project- Building Excellence. Renderings are also on display in the Lower School and Upper School entrances. The new 43,000 square foot building will house 9th-12th grade classes and a new gymnasium. It will be located on the current campus in what is currently the wooded area adjacent to the athletic field. The athletic field will remain in its current location.

The new building will include eight classrooms, a one-thousand seat gymnasium, boys’ and girls’ locker rooms, and two science labs. It will be framed with the option to add a second story in the future. The project will also include adding new parking areas, expanding the current driveway entrances and relocating the current playground. Construction will begin in early 2019 and is expected to take twelve months. The new building will be ready for occupation sometime in the 2019-2020 academic year.

PCA is committed to offering students the best overall educational experience possible and because of our continued growth, it is imperative that we move forward with this building project. This new building will enable us to continue to grow and provide excellence in both our academic and athletic programs.

The building project is expected to cost approximately $8 million. We have launched the Building Excellence capital campaign to begin addressing the cost of the project. Several families have already committed to the campaign and the total cost of the building project is expected to be covered by the time construction begins.

PCA will host a Groundbreaking Ceremony in early 2019 to celebrate the beginning of construction and PCA families, alumni, supporters, and community leaders will be invited to join the celebration. Additional details will be shared closer to the date of the groundbreaking.
