Mr. William “Butch” Vaughn joined the PCA team in 2008 after being an educational leader in the county and state for over 35 years. Besides his administrative experience, Mr. Vaughn has served on numerous SACS committees, as a team member and chairperson. He served on the design committee for Rutherford County Middle Schools. He was appointed by the State Board of Education to serve on the new curriculum standards committee as well as being appointed to the State Obesity Council. Mr. Vaughn currently serves on the board for the Tennessee Athletic Coaches Association and is on the Board of Directors for the Rutherford County Drug Court. He enjoys spending most of his time with his family and grandchildren and attending weekly men’s Bible study groups within the community.
