In Honor of James Frazee

JamesMr. James Frazee IV went to be with the Lord in 2004, yet his presence indelibly persists in the hearts and minds of those he left behind. James was a remarkable man with a deep passion to see students come to know the Lord. His contributions and influence on Providence Christian Academy should never be forgotten. This page is dedicated to him.

Why We Do What We Do at PCA?

Believe it or not, even working in a Christian organization, the routine and every day’s full slate of responsibilities, can often lead to days full of “busy-ness” and not much focused prayer. And yet, at the heart of what we hope to see accomplished here at Providence is completely a work of the Holy Spirit. It cannot be orchestrated, it cannot be planned, but it can be asked for in prayer. So pray for us daily. Ask God to continue to make this school and this learning experience qualitatively different. Ask God to cause these young people and their teachers to be in awe, in wonder, and in love with Jesus. Ask God to then let that continually permeate everything that transpires here each day. That the goodness of God would not only be seen in what is being studied, but also in every relationship, and every experience. Then, through the power of the Spirit, all the planning, orchestrating, laboring, and learning will find their right place as His servants, and become what they’re supposed to be: tools of worship. — James Frazee
