PCA will have our annual Spirit Week coming up on Feb. 13 – Feb. 17.

Students may dress according to these themes each day:

Mascot Monday – Wear your PCA colors!

Tie-Die Tuesday – Tie it, Dye it, Wear it to school!

Wild West Wednesday – Giddy up!

Throw Back Thursday – 50′s , 60′s, 70′s, 80′s – Choose a decade and go crazy!

Fancy / Flannel Friday – Choose to wear your flannels or come in your fanciest dress/suit!

We are happy to announce that our Spring Musical is going to be a production of the “The Wizard of Oz” directed by Mr. Daniel Gregory. The production will be held on April 26-29.  Mark your calendars to attend this great show. It is one that you won’t want to miss!

PCA will be hosting our Open House for prospective families and students on Saturday, February 4 and Monday, February 6 from 9 am until 11am. If you have a student entering Pre-K or Kindergarten, please turn in your application as soon as possible.

Important events coming up in January for families:

• Students return to school on Wednesday, January 4.
• Family Skating party will be on Monday, January 9 at the Murfreesboro Skate Center.
• Spirit Night with the Nashville Predators will be on Saturday, January 14. Tickets are on sale now in the front office.

We wish all families a blessed Christmas season. May your family be filled with the peace and love of Jesus Christ as we celebrate HIS birth this season. School will not be in session from December 15 – January 3.

We are proud of our Middle School Boys and Girls Basketball teams for leading the South division of MTAC conference. We wish them luck as they continue in the conference. Check the schedule for times to come out and cheer on the Lions!

Our annual family Chili Supper will be held on Monday, November 21 beginning at 5:30. Please note that this is a time change from the previous years in order to  to help families get through the chili lines quicker. This is a fun come and go type of dinner so please arrive when it is convenient for your family. The Out of This World Book Fair will also be open for shopping during the entire evening of the Chili Supper. We look forward to a fun night of fellowship and good food with all of our families. There is no cost for this event but we do ask that you bring the items listed below.  If you have more than one child at PCA, please bring all that is listed by each of your children’s grade levels.  We want to have plenty for our BIG PCA family! PLEASE SEND THE ITEMS LISTED TO SCHOOL THE MORNING OF THE 21ST.  THIS HELPS US KNOW THERE WILL BE ENOUGH FOR ALL AND ALLOWS US TO HAVE EVERYTHING SET UP BY 5:30.

Our annual Scholastic Book Fair is coming soon! The dates are Wednesday, November 16- Monday, November 21. Make plans now to journey to space and discover some great new books! We are looking for volunteers to help set-up and decorate the school to look like space and also to help work our book fair. Thanks to a service learning grant from the State Farm Foundation, PCA high school students were able to present a check for $2000 to A Soldier’s Child Birthday Foundation. Students also get to participate with this organization on a monthly basis by helping them to wrap gifts and prepare gifts to be shipped to children registered with A Soldier’s Child.

PCA Basketball season is almost here! Teams have been formed, our players are busy practicing! Be sure to check the schedules so you can come and cheer on the Lions!
