PCA’s Fine Arts programs should take our students far beyond being art consumers. We want them to become confident creators of art. In order to create, they must learn to see, hear, and notice, to pay attention to notes and rhythms, to the subtle variations of value in the human face, to the differences of meaning in different facial expressions. In order to create, they must become problem solvers, able to transform what they see and hear in mind and spirit into art that others can see and hear.
