Performance Events

PCA believes it is important for each student to have access to performance opportunities at every level throughout his or her academic career. The classroom provides daily hands on use of musical instruments in both organized and free flow methods. Outside of the classroom, PCA provides many performance opportunities throughout the year for our students.

Christmas Program

Each year at Christmastime, all students at PCA perform for family and friends at the Christmas program. This program features singing and instrumental performances. Our most recent program focused on Christmas around the world. The students learned and performed songs in 5 different languages.

Fine Arts Coffeehouse

This fun night at PCA combines the talents of the Visual Arts and Performing Arts departments. Student artwork is selected and displayed throughout the hallways for the end of the year Art Show. During this time, auditioned students perform music on stage in a talent show format.

Spring Musical

Providence Christian Academy welcomes Amy Baltimore as their Spring Musical Director. Mrs. Baltimore recently moved to Murfreesboro from Pensacola, FL where she studied theater at Pensacola Christian College and graduated with honors. She continued her theatrical experience in Pensacola at the local community theater and as a musical theater instructor for a private studio, while also pursuing her master’s degree in education with a focus in school guidance and counseling. Upon moving to Murfreesboro two years ago Mrs. Baltimore immediately sought out the local theater and accepted a role in that year’s Christmas production. She has been a steady supporter of the arts in Murfreesboro, performing in and directing various productions from church and children’s events to The Sound of Music and Bye Bye Birdie at the Center for the Arts. Mrs. Baltimore is looking forward to the opportunity to use the talents God has given her to minister to the students of Providence Christian Academy through performing arts.
