Building Excellence Capital Campaign

Putting Our Faith into Action

Whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable, if there is any excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
Philippians 4:8

Providence Christian Academy enters its 22nd year with many blessings and numerous accomplishments over the years that we can point to with great pride. One of the areas where we have experienced expansion is in our enhanced facilities. In 2014 PCA made a significant addition to the campus adding more than 40,000 square feet.

As we move through the 2018-19 year we are once again blessed to be experiencing significant growth. For the last two years we have grown more than 40% and, in the past three years, added over 200 new students to our school. Few schools across the country have grown at this rate. God is indeed good!

Our vision is based on our mission and our desire for excellence. Our passion and commitment is to be the very best independent, Christian school we can possibly be. We are preparing leaders for the future and we must develop them in a way that speaks to excellence in every facet of PCA. This, of course, includes our facilities and the need for expansion is critical.

While the facilities added to our campus have been a blessing, our growth has outpaced our facilities and we are once again struggling to keep up with the demand for the unique Christian educational experience we provide. A master site planning committee has determined that our most immediate need is for additional upper school classroom space, and a new larger gymnasium for high school sports, physical education, and many other needs we have throughout the year.

Our plan is to add eight classrooms, two science labs, office space, and meeting space. The gymnasium will have a seating capacity of 1,000 and will include a weight room, locker rooms, and much needed storage. In addition, we will be required to add extensively to our parking capacity, relocate the playground, and widen the two entrances we have off DeJarnette Lane. The total cost to complete all of the above is projected to be about $8 million.

While much of the funding for this new project has been committed, we still must raise additional resources to completely underwrite the funding for this project. The BUILDING EXCELLENCE campaign is our path to finishing strong.

Our hope is that you will prayerfully consider how you can help PCA reach the goal of adding these much-needed facilities to our campus. Your generosity will have a significant impact on our ability to provide an amazing educational experience for our students.

Our mission is to teach students to seek God’s truth and to equip them with the tools for lifetime of learning. As we seek to achieve this we know the stakes are high and we are confident that those who love this school and want us to thrive will come forward with the resources to ensure that we are living out this mission. Thank you!

With deepest gratitude,
