PCA Hires New Coach and Expands Athletics to Offer High School Varsity Football

Providence Christian Academy has hired a new High School Varsity Head Football Coach and will offer High School Varsity Football beginning in Fall 2020.  Lebron Ferguson will be joining PCA as a High School Varsity Head Football Coach, Logic School Athletic Director, and Upper School History Teacher.  Coach Ferguson earned a degree in Religion with an emphasis in Bible from the University of the South and obtained his teaching certification from Middle Tennessee State University.  He has twenty-seven years of experience coaching football in numerous roles including: Head Coach, Assistant Coach, Defensive Coordinator, and Offensive Coordinator.  He worked at Oakland High School in Murfreesboro as a social studies teacher and served as the Assistant Football Coach (1996-2003) and Head Football Coach (2004-2007).  He has most recently worked at Franklin Road Academy in Nashville where he has served as a Geography teacher and coach.  During his twelve years at FRA, Coach Ferguson served as Associate AD in charge of Middle School, Assistant Football Coach-Offensive Coordinator, and Offensive Line Coach.  Coach Ferguson and his wife, Martha, reside in Murfreesboro and attend World Outreach Church.
