Providence Christian Academy’s mission is to teach students to seek God’s truth and to equip them with the tools for a lifetime of learning. Our highly qualified faculty consists of lifelong learners who lead our educational community. With adequate support, our faculty serve as academic mentors and collaborate with students and parents in broad-based extra-curricular activities, including sports, fine arts, and classically-based social organizations. The Head of Logic School oversees the academic program for approximately 200 students in grades 6th -8th grade. Director of Spiritual Life & Kingdom Unity
Providence Christian Academy is seeking to hire a full-time Director of Spiritual Life and Kingdom Unity for the 2024-2025 school year. Master’s degree and ministry experience preferred along with advanced knowledge of Scripture and evidence of Biblical Worldview. The Director will oversee Providence Christian Academy’s school climate and culture while leading the development and implementation of spiritual life, diversity, unity, and belonging initiatives. This position will collaborate with leadership, faculty, and staff to foster an environment of unity in the areas of admissions, recruitment, and retention of faculty, student experience, communications, pedagogy/curriculum, and spiritual formation. Must review and comply with PCA’s Statement of Faith.
Position requires flexible work hours based on upcoming school events that take place before, during, and after school hours. Position will assist with the organization, planning, and execution of events and activities. Responsible for assisting with updating the school wide events calendar, coordinating room mom activities, and assisting with online and campus spirit sales. Position requires self-motivation, organizational skills, attention to detail, computer skills, and must have the ability to coordinate and work well with all levels of PCA’s organization. Some physical labor is required. Prior experience or relevant degree preferred.
Grammar School Dean of Studies
Providence Christian Academy is seeking a full-time Grammar School Dean of Studies. Qualified candidates must have 3 to 5 years’ experience in an educational environment, and have a sound understanding of the Bible. and an education degree or related field. The Grammar Dean of Studies directs, researches, and develops curriculum, along with assisting in the teaching and learning in grades K-5. Primary responsibilities include training teachers to teach both effectively and classically and monitoring the implementation and development of the school curriculum. Work with classroom teachers to promote innovative instructional practices and assist in the evaluation of the effectiveness of teaching methods.
Logic Academic Support Teacher
Providence Christian Academy is seeking a part-time Academic Support Teacher to work with PCA’s Logic Students in the Student Learning Services program. This position will provide services that supplement classroom teaching by utilizing valid techniques according to the school’s classical and Christian philosophy. Previous experience and relevant degree required.
After School Care
Providence Christian Academy is seeking to fill a full time position for our After School Care program for the 2023-2024 school year. The hours are Monday – Friday 11:30pm-5:30pm and include benefits. Qualified individuals must have a sound understanding of the Bible and be of outstanding character and witness. Grammar School Reading Interventionist
Providence Christian Academy is seeking a part-time Grammar School Reading Interventionist for the 2024-2025 school year. The reading interventionist works with students on early reading skills, fluency, vocabulary, and comprehension skills. The Reading Interventionist will assist with assessments to check benchmarks, lead small groups, create lesson plans, and provide constant communication between teachers, parents, and administration.
