Pumpkin Patch & Fall Market– Saturday, Oct. 23 from 1:00- 4:00pm
Providence Christian Academy will host a Pumpkin Patch & Fall Market on Saturday, October 23, 2021 from 1:00- 4:00pm on the PCA athletic field. The Pumpkin Patch will be a fun come-and-go fundraising event that is open to the community. All activities will be spread out on the athletic fields with plenty of room to maintain a comfortable distance from others! Pumpkins, gourds, and mums will be available for purchase, plus there will be concessions, sweet treats, and NEW special activities for families.
Pumpkins and gourds will be spaced out on the athletic field in our “Pumpkin Patch” to allow families to browse for just the right pumpkins and gourds to purchase. Mums will be on display to purchase in the “Mum Garden.” All pumpkins, gourds, and mums have been locally grown and will be available in a variety of sizes and colors. Sweet treats will be available in the “Sweet Treats Candy Store” and a concession stand will offer pizza, drinks, and snacks.
Special activities will include: pumpkin decorating, petting zoo, pony rides, photo booth, character appearances, a pumpkin Gospel story stage, face painting, fun outdoor games for all ages, and much more! PCA spirit wear will also be on display to purchase in the PCA Spirt Store.
Sponsorships are needed in order to make the event successful. All sponsorships are tax-deductible. Families, friends and community partners are invited to sponsor the Pumpkin Patch at the following levels: $1,000 +, $500, or $250. Businesses and families will be recognized for their generous sponsorship through event promotions and signage.
All proceeds from the Pumpkin Patch will support the PCA Annual Fund. Each year, gifts to the Annual Fund provide important resources needed to purchase additional classroom materials and athletic equipment while also helping to fund faculty & staff professional development opportunities and providing support for ongoing improvements in technology. Currently, tuition covers approximately 90% of the cost of overall school operations. The additional 10% is made up through fundraising events and direct contributions to the Annual Fund. Your event sponsorships and direct gifts to the Annual Fund are important and will enhance the educational experience of every student at PCA!
