Welcome from the Head of School

Welcome from the Head of School

“Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”

Romans 12:2

Welcome to Providence Christian Academy! We are delighted that you have taken time to visit our website and learn about the PCA educational experience.  We encourage you to explore and prayerfully consider PCA as you navigate the process of discerning the best fit for your child.

PCA offers a robust college preparatory education through the Classical Christian model, making it truly distinct from other institutions.  Our mission, to teach students to seek God’s truth and to equip them with the tools for a lifetime of learning, drives all we do here.  Our three pillars truly help to distinguish the PCA experience from other educational options.  First, we provide a Christian Education, in which the Bible is fully integrated into our curriculum.  Simply put, our students learn to navigate the world through a Biblical Worldview.  Second, we utilize the Classical Education method in both content and pedagogy.  Our students learn how to acquire, discern, and present truth.  This time-tested approach to learning equips our students for a lifetime of learning.  Finally, our third pillar is parental involvement.  We believe you, as parents, are the primary educators of your children, and we welcome you to get involved in this journey through the myriad partnership opportunities that are available here.

There is no greater investment that you can make for your children than providing them with the best education possible. PCA provides many value-added benefits to both your child and your family.  The intimate community is often compared to a family, largely due to our intentional focus on relationships across the academy.  Our faculty, staff, and coaches, all go the extra mile to meet the needs of our students.  This is a place where your child will be seen and known, providing a sense of belonging, inducing exponential growth.  Small class sizes, advisory programing, the PCA house system, chapel, morning prayer, clubs and organizations, athletics, fine and performing arts – these are just a few of the ways your child’s experience will be enhanced, producing an immeasurable return on your greatest investment.

Visiting this website is simply the first step on your PCA journey.  Take some time to get to know us, but then please reach out to set up a campus visit.  We would love to walk the halls with you, so you can get a first hand glimpse into all that God is doing here.

In Him,

Andy
