Parental Involvement

Parental Involvement is the third pillar of the PCA experience. The primary purpose of Parental Involvement is to enhance the educational experience at PCA for students, teachers, and parents by encouraging and developing parent support as well as offering opportunities for fellowship within the school community.

Parent Participation Policy

Parent involvement is an essential part of a student’s education at Providence Christian Academy. A point system has been established whereby a parent may fulfill his/her annual parent participation requirements of a minimum of 24 points (12 per semester). Both parents are required to fulfill point requirements and log them online separately. Please be aware that some activities are mandatory and the remaining hours can be made up of any activities. Other activities and their respective point values are listed for you to choose from to fulfill your remaining requirements. Volunteer service hours should be recorded on the individual parent portal through RenWeb.

Please note that ANY time you are volunteering, providing assistance to PCA, or attending a PCA event may be recorded as participation.

Observation must be completed and recorded in individual parent portal on RenWeb by:
December 9, 2022 for 1st Semester
May 5, 2023 for 2nd Semester

Box Tops For Education

Simply clip ‘Box Tops’ from General Mills products and return to PCA.  Each Box Top returned equals 10 cents for PCA.  Box Tops for Education is going digital!  This will be the last year that we will accept traditional clipped Box Tops as they phase out the production of the printed Box Top. Collecting Box Tops and earning cash for PCA is now even easier! Simply download the Box Tops app and scan your receipt after shopping. The Box Tops app will automatically find the participating items and apply it to the rewards given to PCA.

Office Depot Rewards

Use your PCA Office Depot card, ask the cashier to give credit to PCA or or enter our school ID number and PCA will receive 5% of your purchase.  The PCA Office Depot school ID is: 70093589.
