National Beta Club

National Beta Club Membership Obligations

The National Beta Club is a nationally recognized honor society dedicated to promoting leadership and achievement in the areas of scholarship and service.  Our motto is “Let us lead by serving others”.  As such, Providence Christian Academy’s Beta Club chapter demands that it’s members live up to high standards of academics, character, service, and leadership and focus on community service at the school, local, and national levels.

Requirements of PCA Senior Beta Club Members:

  • Attend Beta Club induction. Only serious conflicts will be discussed.

  • Commit to the following requirements:

    • Complete 10 service hours per year on top of the required PCA service hours

    • Participate in at least 3 club projects per school year

    • Maintain a 93 overall average

    • Exhibit exemplary character and leadership

    • Attend 1 Senior Beta Club meeting per month

    • Pay a one-time $32 dues. This will not be paid until you are accepted into the club.

Application Instructions:

In order to be considered for membership, applicants must submit the attached application by the designated due date. You will find this date in the PCA Newsletter. Please be thoughtful in your responses.  Pay attention to grammar, punctuation, development, and organization.

*You do not have to attend the Spring Soiree to bid on ...silent auction items. Purchasing silent auction items is a wonderful way to show your support for PCA!

IMPORTANT AUCTION INFORMATION:
-Silent Auction Bidding will close at 7:30pm on Friday, April 19, 2024.
-You are not required to enter credit card information to view auction items, however you will be required to enter your credit card information to place a bid on silent auction items.
-A maximum bid amount and a bid increase amount may easily be set to update automatically in the online auction system so that a bidder does not have to continuously log in to the online auction system to update their bid.
-All silent auction bids must be placed online and the online auction system will determine the winning bidder at auction close.
-In the event that you are the winning bidder, the credit card on file in the auction system will automatically be charged following the close of the silent auction.
-Bidding on live auction items will be reserved for those in attendance at the Spring Soiree.
-All auction sales are final. There are no refunds on auction items and experiences.
-Winning bidders who are not present at the Spring Soiree may pick up their item(s) in the Lower School office beginning on Tuesday, April 23. Out of town winners are responsible for all shipping fees.
